West Bengal Police is Hiring – Check Eligibility Criteria at a Glance
Age: Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years old as of January 1, 2024. (Age relaxation for reserved category applicants)
Education: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.
Language: Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write in Bengali, except for those who are permanent residents of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Hill sub-divisions. For them, the provisions of the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961, will apply.
Attention, Applicants!
After the application process concludes, the WBPRB will provide a 7-day edit window from April 10 to 16th. During this time, you’ll be able to rectify any personal information (except permanent state, mobile number, and email ID) you’ve submitted in your application forms.
To make edits, you’ll need to provide your application number or registered mobile number and date of birth and enter the OTP (one-time password) sent to your phone. Once the OTP is verified, you’ll be able to update your application details.
Remember, “Request for the change/correction in the personal details (except category) shall not be entertained under any of the circumstances in later stages,” as per the boards statement.
