UPPSC PCS Mains 2024 – Registration for Mains Exam Starts, Check Application Process and Important Dates
UPPSC PCS Mains 2024 – If you have cleared UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024, now is the time to apply for Mains exam 2024. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has started the online application process for the Mains exam.
The last date to apply is March 24, 2025, and interested candidates can fill their form by visiting uppsc.up.nic.in.
Under this recruitment, eligible candidates will be selected for a total of 947 posts. 15,066 candidates who have cleared the PCS prelims exam can now apply in this phase.

How to Apply?
- First of all, visit the official website up.nic.in.
- Click on the “UPPSC Mains Exam Registration” link.
- Complete the registration by filling your prelims roll number and other required information.
- Pay the application fee and submit the form.
- Take a printout of the application and submit it along with all the required documents by post or at the commission’s office by 1 April 2025.
Important
Along with the hard copy, self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates, mark sheets and other necessary documents will also have to be submitted.
All candidates are advised to apply on time, so that they do not face any technical problem at the last moment.
Exam Pattern and Selection Process

- Date – 29 June 2025
Exam Pattern
- It will consist of a written exam, which will be based on various subjects.
- Candidates who pass the exam will qualify for the interview round.
Interview Round
- Candidates who pass the Mains exam will be called for interview.
- In the interview, the personality, thinking ability, administrative knowledge and understanding of current events of the candidates will be evaluated.
- After clearing the interview, the final merit list will be prepared and the candidates will be selected.

Shift
- Morning- 9-30 am to 11-30 am
- Afternoon- 2-30 pm to 4-30 pm
- Result Declared- 1 March 2025
