Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Initiates- TNPSC CCE Group 1 Services Recruitment 2024 Application Process (TNPSC CCE Recruitment 2024)
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission i.e. TNPSC has commenced the application process for the Combined Civil Services Examination (CCSE) – I (Group-I Services) Recruitment 2024 on March 28, 2024. Interested candidates/ articipants can access the application link on the TNPSC’s official portal at tnpsc.gov.in.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 27, 2024. The application correction period is also scheduled from 2nd May 2024 to 4th May 2024. The preliminary exam is set for July 13, 2024, and will occur in a single session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

- Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1): 23 positions
- Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes): 14 positions
- Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies: 21 positions
- Assistant Director of Rural Development: 14 positions
- District Employment Officer: 1 position
- District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services): 1 position

Selection Procedure
The selection for the Group-I Services will follow a two-step process: an initial Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination, followed by a Main Examination (Written and Interview) to the finalize candidates for the various roles.
Examination Fees
Examination fee of Rupees 100 is required with the online application for the preliminary exam, except for those who are eligible for a fee exemption.
For the Main Written Examination, a fee of Rupee 200 must be paid by candidates/ participants who are not exempt and are selected for this stage based on their Preliminary Examination results.
