PSEB 12th Board Exam – BJP Objected to the Question related to Aam Aadmi Party, Know the Whole Matter
PSEB 12th Board Exam – A controversy has arisen over the asking of two questions related to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the 12th class Political Science exam of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has objected to this and called it motivated by political agenda.
What is the whole matter?
The 12th Board Political Science exam was conducted on 4 March 2025. Two questions in this exam became the topic of discussion-
- “When was the Aam Aadmi Party founded?”
- “Describe the policies and programs of the Aam Aadmi Party.”
The BJP says that the Punjab government is trying to politically influence the youth.
Why did the BJP object?
Punjab BJP leader Vineet Joshi reacted strongly on this matter. He said –
- “If questions related to AAP have been asked in the exam, it means that students are taught about AAP’s policies and programs in schools.”
- “Why were only questions related to AAP asked in the exam? Questions related to Congress, Akali Dal and BJP should also have been asked.”
- “We will soon write a letter to the government regarding this issue.”
PSEB exam dates
- 10th board exam- March 10 to April 4, 2025
- 12th board exam- February 19 to March 26, 2025
This controversy of Punjab Board Exam has come at a time when Lok Sabha elections 2025 are also near in the state. This has sparked a new debate among political parties.
What does the education board say?
At present, there has been no official response from the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on this controversy. But this matter has become a hot topic in the political corridors.
The controversy over the questions related to AAP in the Punjab Board exam has increased. BJP is calling it a political agenda and is talking about writing a letter to the government soon. Now it has to be seen what explanation PSEB and Punjab government give on this.
