PM Internship Scheme has been started by the Modi Government for the unemployed youth of the country, under which this scheme was announced in the budget of 2024-2025 by India’s Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. Under this scheme, 1 crore youth of the country are going to get a lot of benefits in the next 5 years. Under this, the youth will be given a monthly allowance of 5000 rupees per month, and along with this, they will get 6000 rupees separately every year.

When is the PM Internship Scheme starting?
The registration for PM Internship Scheme is starting from 12 October, 2024, and candidates who want to apply for it can get their registration done for it till 25 October 2024.
What is the date of PM Internship Scheme candidate shortlist?
The PM Internship Scheme is being managed by a company named BISAG as the technology partner of the government. The candidates will be shortlisted by the company between 27 October and 7 November.
The shortlisted candidates have to take the final decision of the internship program between 8 November and 15 November 2024. This internship program will start from 2 December, 2024 and it is only for 13 months.
Know how much internship will be given under Prime Minister Internship Scheme?
In PM Internship Scheme, the selected intern candidates will get 5000 rupees monthly and along with this the government will give 6000 rupees separately to these selected candidates once every year.
Out of the 5000 rupees received monthly, 500 rupees i.e. 10% will be given by the companies from their CSR fund and 4500 rupees will be given by the government.
The government will spend 800 crore rupees on this PM Internship Scheme, for which advertisements in different regional languages have already started being given by the government. Every possible effort is being made to ensure that the selected candidates get to do internship in their own district.
What should be the eligibility for PM Internship Scheme?
Any youth between 21 to 24 years can apply for this internship and he must have 19th mark sheet and certificate.
Who cannot apply for PM Internship Scheme?
Candidates whose family has someone in a government job or their family annual income is more than 8 lakhs or the candidate himself is doing a full time job somewhere, such candidates cannot apply for this job.

Out of the top 500 companies of India, 111 companies have enrolled for it so far, and the government has also informed whether the reserve policy for SC/ST, OBC candidates will be followed for this internship program.
