NTA Patents and Design Examiner Main 2024 Results Declared, Interview is on April 1
Results for the 10,474 NTA Patents & Design Examiner Recruitment Candidates Announced at nta.ac.in; Mains Exam Marks Contribute 80%. (NTA Patents and Design Examiner)
The National Testing Agency i.e NTA has released the recruitment exam results for the Patent and Design Examiners.
From the total participants, 553 students will be chosen for the positions in the patent office based on an All India Competitive exam (AICE). Successful candidates are now set to move onto the interview phase, starting April 1, as part of the selection process.
This recruitment saw the NTA administering the Mains examination to 10,474 candidates who had passed the preliminary stage. The assessment was conducted across 77 cities on January 25 and February 5, spanning 14 disciplines in a descriptive format.
Following an expert review, the NTA has published the final answer keys. The results have been calculated by the assigning an 80% weight age to the cumulative scores from the Papers 1 and 2 of the Mains exam.
The remaining 20% of the evaluation/result will be based on the candidates’ performance in the upcoming interview phase.
Scheduled from 1st to 25th April, the interview for shortlisted applicants/candidates will carry 100 marks, focusing on assessing the knowledge areas covered in the earlier stages of the exam.
The NTA indicated that the number of the candidates moving forward to the interview stage is roughly 5 times the number of the available positions, which is 553. Those eligible for the interview will receive a separate admit card detailing the venue, date, and time.
