The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has made the hall tickets for the Class 10 and 12 public exams of 2024 available for download at its official portal, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
The examinations are scheduled to take place between April 6 and May 22 across various venues. Students registered for the theory examinations must present the NIOS admit card at their examination center, which can be obtained from the website mentioned.
NIOS Class 10, 12 Public Exams 2024
In an effort to harmonize the examination process with other educational boards and enhance the exam experience, NIOS has introduced a 15-minute reading period before the start of each exam, from 2:15 pm to 2:30 pm.
This adjustment provides students with adequate time to review the question paper, thereby easing exam pressure and improving student outcomes.
The initiative for additional reading time is part of NIOS’s strategy to ensure that its students are afforded the same academic opportunities as those from other boards, creating a more equitable and stress-reduced examination environment.
During the ongoing examination period, Class 12 or senior secondary students will sit for papers in Veda Adhyayan, early childhood care and education, employability skills, and entrepreneurship. Today, Class 10 students are set to take their Sanskrit examination.
The NIOS board exams for 2024 will run from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Students must have their NIOS hall ticket and a valid school ID card for identity verification at the exam center.
Following the examination period, the NIOS plans to announce the results for both Classes 10 and 12 seven weeks after the exams conclude.
Qualified students will receive their NIOS Class 10th and 12th mark-sheet-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer Certificates through their respective Accredited Institutions (AIs).
For those whose AIs have been canceled, these documents will be dispatched directly to their home addresses as registered with NIOS by the relevant Regional Center.
