Jammu Kashmir Police SI Recruitment 2024: The Jammu Kashmir Police Department has announced the application process for the recruitment of 669 posts of Sub-Inspector (SI). Interested candidates can apply from 3 December 2024. The last date to apply is 2 January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Residence
The candidate must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
For this, a residence certificate on or before 2 January 2025 is mandatory.
Educational Qualification
Graduation degree from a recognized university.
The conditions of Physical Standard Test and Endurance Test will also have to be fulfilled.
Age Limit
General Candidates: 18-28 years (as on 1st January 2024).
Serving Personnel: 18-30 years.
Age relaxation will be given as per government rules.
Application Fee
General, OBC, Other Category: ₹700
SC, ST-1, ST-2, EWS: ₹600
Payment: Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking.
Selection Process
The selection process will be in three stages:
Written Exam
Objective type questions.
Paper in English language only.
Negative Marking: 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Height, weight and other physical standards of the candidate.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Race and other physical activities.
NCC Certificate Bonus Marks
‘C’ Certificate: 5% extra marks.
‘B’ Certificate: 3% extra marks.
‘A’ Certificate: 2% extra marks.
