Courses offered at IISER
IISER mainly offers two major programmes
BS-MS Dual Degree (5-year programme)

BS Degree (4-year programme)
This is available at IISER Bhopal and IISER Tirupati.
It includes subjects like Engineering Sciences and Economic Sciences.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in IISER
If you want to take admission in IISER, then you must fulfill the following conditions:
Educational Qualification
Candidate must have passed 12th (or equivalent) examination with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths) in 2023, 2024 or 2025.
Minimum Marks
Minimum 60% marks for General, OBC and EWS.
Minimum 55% marks for SC, ST and PWD.

General, OBC, EWS: ₹2000

IAT 2025: Exam Pattern
The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) will be a computer-based test (CBT).
Questions will be asked from four subjects in the exam
- Physics – 15 questions
- Chemistry – 15 questions
- Mathematics – 15 questions
- Biology – 15 questions
- Total questions: 60
- Time: 3 hours
