Exams Alert: CBSE board exams to start from February 15, datesheet released suddenly
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates of its 10th and 12th board examinations for 2024-25. This time the datesheet has been released suddenly, which has surprised the students and the education world.
Key Dates:
Class 10th exam: Will start from February 15 and run till March 18, 2025.
Class 12th exam: Will start from February 15 and run till April 4, 2025.
The examinations for both the classes will start at 10:30 am and end at 1:30 pm.
Important Information:
Attendance: 75% attendance is mandatory for the student to appear in the exam. However, in some cases (such as medical emergency or participation in national sports) a relaxation of 25% can be given, but this will require the relevant document.
Features:
Gap between exam dates of two subjects: CBSE has ensured that no student has exam of two subjects on the same day.
Coordination with competitive exams: The exam dates of class XII are not clashing with other competitive exams like JEE Main, NEET and CUET.
Practical exams and internal assessment:
CBSE has fixed the start of practical exams and internal assessment from 1st January 2025.
Exams in Meerut district:
28,550 students will appear in this year’s board exams in Meerut district, out of which 15,900 students belong to class X and 12,650 students belong to class XII.
