CA Inter May Exams 2024 and Final May Exams 2024 – ICAI to Reopen the Correction Window for Changes
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is set to reopen the correction window for the Chartered Accountancy (CA) Intermediate and Final examinations scheduled for May 2024. (CA Inter May Exams 2024)
This reopening allows previously registered candidates to modify their choice of examination city, Group, and medium. These adjustments can be made from March 21 (10 am) to March 29 (11:59 am) via the institute’s official website- icai.org.
In a recent announcement, the ICAI stated, “To assist candidates who have already enrolled for the May 2024 CA Examinations, we have decided to reopen the online correction window. This enables changes in examination city, Group, and medium.
Candidates for the Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Final Examinations can use this facility through the Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org, starting from March 27, 2024 (10 am) until March 29, 2024 (11.59 pm).”
The ICAI also noted that the details provided in their previous announcements on January 25 and March 19 remain the same, except for the changes allowed through the correction window. Candidates are encouraged to visit icai.org frequently for the latest examination updates.
Additionally, due to the forthcoming Lok Sabha Elections, the ICAI has rescheduled the CA Intermediate and Final exams for May 2024. The rescheduled dates are as follows: Group I of the Intermediate exam will take place on May 3, 5, and 9, while Group II will be on May 11, 15, and 17.
The Final course exams for Group I are set for May 2, 4, and 8, with Group II exams on May 10, 14, and 16. The International Taxation – Assessment Test is slated for May 14 and 16, 2024. The Foundation examination is scheduled for June 2024, after the Lok Sabha Elections, and remains unchanged.
