Bihar Board Exams 2024 – Compartment Dates Announced for Class 10 and 12 Students
Suppose you’re a student in Bihar who’s awaiting a second chance to clear your Class 10 or Class 12 exams; mark your calendars! The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has just released the date sheets for the much-anticipated Compartment Examinations for the year 2024.

Key Dates to Remember – Bihar Board Exams 2024
- Class 10 (Matric) Compartment Exams: May 4 to May 11, 2024
- Class 12 (Intermediate) Compartment Exams: April 29 to May 11, 2024
The exams will be conducted in two shifts each day – the first shift starting at 9:30 am and the second at 2 pm. You can find the detailed date sheets on the BSEB’s official website: biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in, as well as on their social media pages.
A Quick Recap of the 2023 Board Exam Results
In the recent Matric (Class 10) exams, a total of 16,64,252 students appeared, out of which 13,79,842 students cleared the exam, resulting in a pass percentage of 82.91%.
For the Intermediate (Class 12) exams, 1,291,684 students appeared, and 1,126,439 students passed, achieving a commendable overall pass percentage of 87.21%.
Special Exams for Those Who Missed the Annual Exams
Alongside the Compartment Exams, the BSEB will also be conducting Special Examinations for those students who couldn’t appear for the annual board exams due to delays in form submissions or other reasons.
