- Additional Professor – MD/MS or equivalent + 10 years of experience OR DM/M.Ch + 7-8 years of experience
- Associate Professor – MD/MS or equivalent + 6 years of experience OR DM/M.Ch + 3-4 years of experience
- Assistant Professor – MD/MS or equivalent + 3 years of experience OR DM/M.Ch (3-year course) without experience OR 1 year of experience with a 2/5-year DM/M.Ch
For Non-Medical Candidates
- Master’s degree + PhD in the relevant subject
- Postdoctoral experience equivalent to medical qualifications
